To celebrate the 15 years of The Countryside Restoration Trust (CRT), a farming and conservation charity, the Trust is launching its first ever photo competition.
The theme of the photo competition is appropriately, the British farming countryside and the CRT invites all budding photographers to capture “on film” what the countryside means to them. This could be a photo of a farmland animal or plant in its natural habitat, a landscape showing an aspect of farm management or a farmer working the land.
Images will be judged on originality, overall impact and composition by Robin Page (well known author and countryman), Chris Knights (Norfolk farmer and internationally renowned wildlife photographer) and Bruce Pearson (a leading wildlife painter and external examiner for the Royal College of Art).
Members of Shropshire Photographic Society are invited to take part. Download a PDF application form here.
