Nantwich Civil War Re-enactment

Add to Calendar
This event was held on Saturday 25th January 2020

Although we did this last year it is worth repeating! This annual event is the largest Sealed Knot Civil War reenactment in the land and it gives us great opportunities to work on portraiture and action photography techniques.

Meet in Harrison's Cafe, 1 High Street, Nantwich before heading out at 11am for photography in Nantwich town among entertainers and re-enactment demonstrations (follow the link for details). Later, follow the soldiers' march starting at 1.30pm to nearby Mill Island for the battle re-enactment at 2pm (usually a small entrance fee). The weather could make things even more interesting so be prepared!

As always, just announce at a meeting before this event if you have spare seats in your car or need a lift as sharing is strongly recommended for what will be a busy event.

Event Schedule etc

There is additional parking near to the football ground if the town car parks are full, CW5 5BS. It's a little bit of a walk back to the battlefield but not too bad.
