2008 Shrewsbury Open Photography Exhibition

 

This prestigious exhibition is under PAGB Patronage, and acceptances count towards the BPE Crown Awards. There are 3 sections, Open and Nature Slides and Open Digital. 

The panel of selectors for 2008 were:

Tony Wharton FRPS AFIAP

 

The exhibition has now been judged and results have been mailed out.  The catalogue of accepted images is now complete and will shortly be available to download from the Documents page of this website.

Monday 3rd November 2008 at 7.30pm Shrewsbury Gateway Arts Centre, Chester St, Shrewsbury SY1 1NB

Tuesday 11th November 2008 at 7.30pm Stafford Photographic Society, The Gatehouse Theatre, Eastgate St, Stafford ST16 2LT
Tuesday 18th November 2008 at 7.45 pm Tettenhall Wood Photographic Club, The Institute, Wood Road, Tettehall Wood

The awards are PAGB Gold Medals for best General, best Nature slides and best digital entry.
PAGB gold medal for best entry of 4 slides or digital images in one section
PAGB Silver medals for Selectors medals - 3 in each section.

BPE Ribbons for Commended images
