A day for photographing the modern built environment and more.
Get your camera amongst buildings, bridges, reflections, architectural detail, trams, old docks and the Manchester Ship Canal on this day out to Salford Quays. You can also tour the International War Museum North (free entry) and the Lowry Theatre (free entry to public areas) with its bold and abstract interior details. The Imperial War Museum North opens at 10am so we will meet in its cafe for a 10.30am start.
Sunday service interruptions permitting, it is possible to reach Salford Quays by train and tram from Shrewsbury. The War Museum has pay-parking for cars.
