The Shropshire Photographic Society holds regular meetings at:
The Hermitage Centre, Belle Vue Methodist Church, Belle Vue Road, Shrewsbury SY3 7NL.
The Hermitage Centre is located immediately behind the church.
Meetings are held from September to June (we're off taking photographs in the summer), except bank holidays, starting at 7:30PM. While members pay £2.00 door fee, non-members pay £3.00 (these non member charges may change to £4 for premium events).
For more information about The Hermitage Centre and the Methodist Church, visit Belle Vue Methodist Church.
You can also see the church and Hermitage Centre on a map, courtesy of Google Maps.
There are a very limited number of spaces on the premises and it has been decided that these should be reserved for speakers and members who may need to transport Society equipment. Any members or visitors who have difficulty in walking can also apply to the Society for permission to use this area.
For all able bodied members and visitors there is the South Hermitage Surgery in Burlington Place (stat nav postcode SY3 7JS). They have kindly agreed to us using 30 spaces in their car park on our meeting nights and this is only a short walk away from the Hermitage Centre. We would prefer you to try this parking area first before using an on-street space.
There are likely to be some on-street parking spaces found in South Hermitage and the surrounding streets. If you find that you have to use them we urge that you are mindful of the residents that live in those streets. Please keep noise to a minimum (especially when leaving) and ensure that you do not block driveways, garage entrances or in other ways make entry or exit from any of these properties a difficulty.
